Graduation Infatuation!

It's the month of March and yes it's Graduation time! I can imagine parents busy preparing for their child/ren garduation rites. The hustle bustle of what to wear and where to enroll for the next level of education. The feeling of loneliness and mixed emotions of the Seniors who have to leave thier loved ones as they have to transfer to another school for college. The excitement of the graduate himself. And the will to decide as to what course should one take to achieve his ambition. What is the most exciting part of graduation? for me it's the WAITING and the PICTURE TAKING.

I can only wish to bring back those time when I graduated myself from college. I can never forget my most funny moment in life and that was during my college graduation. That April 5th of 2003 was the most unforgettable day for me, when during and after the ceremony, my nephew, Ahve, was busy taking pictures of me, with friends, with classmates and relatives. Camera click, click, pose here and there...then here comes the wacky and funny poses. Then we went home for celebration, the roasted pig was prepared, spaghetti, cake, chicken macaroni and coke were some of the food and beverage. Camera click, click, busybodies, fun, fun, fun, picture here and there . Then the flash goes off. There was no digital cam before so we immediately open the cam to change the film coz' we thought that the 24 or 36 shots was done, only to find out that the film was not properly loaded/inserted. In short and the worst funny part, was all of the clicks made were nothing . What will you do if you were the graduate?? and it was already 6:00 o'clock in the evening. The gym was empty and all the graduates were gone and probably most of them were busy celebrating at home. But can you imagine graduating without the pictures? Wahhhh, no I certainly CANNOT allow it. What we did, we went back to St. Mary's Gymnasium, asked the guard to let us came in and took pictures again. That was a very disappointing yet funny moment for me. For the sake of pictures and documentation, I need to go back to the venue and took pictures again. The sad part was no pictures of me with my favorite professors and Alma Mater song with the whole batch. But it was all okey, in the end everything was fun! We went home again then we ate and enjoyed!

Now, I can only hope that the next graduation of me or to others will not be the same with mine. The answer is NEVER! coz' we now have new technology of digital camera which I sure had one.
