A bright sunny Wednesday morning has started my day. It is indeed a new day for me. How time flies and I'm still here in Gingoog City. It's been eight months since I arrived from Baltimore, Maryland. And yes, it's been eight months of wating for my waiver to come. Wow!!! I can't believe. Here I am wondering, asking, believing but never doubting. I don't have a job, no car here, no new dresses to wear, no shopping every week, no 6-8 kind of fruits everyday to eat--only 1-2 fruits wahhhh, and no dates hahahahah. Well, life has to go on! Everyday is a new day for me, I don't have to sulk myself in a room and do nothing. Instead I look at the bright side always. I made myself available by helping my sister's cafe. Every Tuesday and Thursday night I'm at the church practicing for the incoming Variety Show. And Saturday, the whole day I'm practicing also at church. And the most recent news for me is that the Gingoog Sining Choreographers Association, which is my group before I went abroad, invited or opened a slot for me as the group will go to Manila to represent the city in WOW Philippines and visit noon time shows to promote tourism. We will also be busy preparing for the coming fiesta. The practice will be every Tuesday to Friday from 1:30-4:00pm. We will host a Dance Summer Workshop by April open for children or students of the city. Well, that's a lot of pretty stuff already since it involves dancing. I'd rather dance and enjoy while waiting for my waiver. I will open myself to new possibilities. I hope to be useful not only in my family and church but also in my community. I'm still hopeful that one day my waiver will come then I will go back to the US.
