Yesterday, July 4th,I went to Medina, Misamis Oriental to judge their folkloric, jazz, and modern dance contest. It was a good day and indeed there were lots of contestants. The show started @ three (3:00) o'clock and finished at about six (6:00) in the evening. In the folkloric competition, there were twelve (12) groups of contestants; in jazz, three ( 3) groups only but in modern dance competition, there were 17 groups so it took us judges a lot of time to sit, watch, and decide who's the best of them all. The board of judges were Roel Pasuquin(Sining Member), Atty. Karen Lagbas, and me. After the judging, we went to the house of the vice mayor and then eat pancit, fried chicken, fried fish, and two more viands. We were invited to stay for awhile for their disco night, the group decided to stay but it rained then we have nothing to do so the vice-mayor graciously offered to take us home by using one of government's vehicles. It was indeed a good night for me coz' I really plan not to stay long coz' I need to go to church the following morning. Thank you Lord!
